Our Services

Provide monitoring of:

• Campus networks (campus backbone and more)
• CITES systems and services
• Environment of CITES DataCenters

Inform relevant campus staff of problems with their systems

Maintain the status server: status.uiuc.edu

Facilitate the installation of systems into CITES DataCenters

Act as call center for the following CITES groups:

• CAN/LAN (Comm. Eng)
• NAS (Systems and Operations)
• Backbone (Comm. Eng)
• Student & Staff Systems (Systems and Operations)
• UNIX Systems Hardware Group (Systems and Operations)

Handle phone questions from admins (answer them when possible, otherwise redirect)
