This month, we have information about a DNS server change, CCSP day
registration, Open Transport v1.1.1, and information about CCSO Cluster
e-mail servers.
CCSO has just received notification from Indiana that they are
moving their dns server from 129.79.1.9 (iugate.ucs.indiana.edu)
to 198.88.18.1 (ns.indiana.edu).
If you do not recognize 129.79.1.9, this is third machine
that we have been using as dns server. Most machines on
campus will have this (129.79.1.9) address in their nameserver
config files.
You should start using the new address (198.88.18.1) right
away. Indiana has made the change to this new server and will
be retiring (129.79.1.9).
128.174.5.58 argus.cso.uiuc.edu
128.174.36.254 cyclops.cso.uiuc.edu
198.88.18.1 ns.indiana.edu
Fall CCSP day will be November 19th. We'd like to mention that you can sign
up for fall's CCSP day on the web, at http://www.uiuc.edu/ph/www/ccsp.
We're looking forward to seeing you there!
